Erysimum Bowles’ Mauve is a shrubby, upright growing selection that does best in mild-winter regions. Handsome grey-green leaves set off the profuse clusters of fragrant, mauve flowers. This wallflower blooms over a long season. Plants develop a woody base and should be sheared back to 6 inches in midsummer to promote fall flowering and maintain a compact habit. Drought tolerant once established. Attractive to butterflies.
